What types of properties qualify as holiday homes in Dubai?
DET generally allows specific types of properties to operate as holiday homes.
Qualifying Properties
Fully furnished apartments in approved residential buildings, villas in compliant communities, and some mixed-use or serviced residences, if they meet the criteria. Each property must be registered on the Holiday Homes system and rented as a whole unit, not just a single room.
